Ofsted will no longer set conditions or issue variations on registration certificates.
Variations are currently applied for to Ofsted if, for example you want to look after 4 children in the under 5′s age group to be able to allow a sibling a space.
The conditions of registration will remain the same as stated in the EYFS framework and you will continue to be able to adjust your numbers according to continuity of care, siblings and over night care as long as you keep in line with requirements
You will no longer need to seek approval from Ofsted and your certificate will no longer show any variations.
